Abstract
Two new species of Mycocentrospora Deighton, M. acalyphae K. Sriv. and A.K. Sriv. and M. polygonii K. Sriv. and A.K. Sriv., occurring on liv ing leaves of Acalypha indica L. and Polygonum minus Huds., respective ly, in India are described and illustrated. They are compared with oth er taxa and a key to foliicolous species of Mycocentrospora is provide d. A review of the genus is offered and comments made on its current s tate.
