Abstract
A new species of Rhytidenglerula is described from living leaves of Tr ema micrantha and compared with R. trematis. Rhytidenglerula trematis is lectotypified. During a study of the fungi of Everglades National P ark, a new species of Rhytidenglerula was found on living leaves of Tr ema micrantha (L.) Blume on Long Pine Key. This new species is describ ed, illustrated and compared with R. trematis (Sydow) v. Arx found on Trema guineensis (Schum.) Fic., T. orientalis Blum and T. micrantha fr om Africa, Asia and South America.
