Abstract
Estimation on the usage efficiency of cathode material has been carrie d out-by Monte Carlo simulation with respect to both nonconductive sys tems such as MnO2 and conductive systems such as Ca0.9La0.1MnO2.97. Ca lculated results indicate that the discharge capacity per unit volume of the latter system is comparable or slightly larger than that of the former one.
