Abstract
Bejel is a form of endemic syphilis which is transmitted by non-venere
al route. According to our knowledge, no cases of bejel have been repo
rted from Turkey for more than 30 years. In this report, three childre
n and their father who suffer from bejel are presented. The history, p
hysical findings, laboratory investigations, treatment and results of
the eases are reviewed, and the related literature is discussed.
