Problems involved in organization and investigation of the wave regime
s of structural-chemical transformations in polymeric composites conta
ining inert and energy-liberating components are considered. It is pos
sible to organize the process in such a manner that the transformation
waves would produce no significant changes the chemical structure of
polymer matrix, as demonstrated for a system composed of poly(isocyanu
rate), silicon carbide (inert filler), and granulated cellulose nitrat
e (energy-liberating component). Dependence of the maximum temperature
in the transformation wave on the system composition was established
using a microthermocouple method.
