Abstract
The spectrometer transmission function was determined using the so cal led bias method. The theoretical framework for this method is presente d and the significance of knowledge of transmission function in XPS qu antitative analysis is stressed. To check the reliability of the bias method other methods for determination of the spectrometer function we re applied.
