Abstract
This payer presents the use of a finite element formulation for the an alysis of reinforced steel fibre concrete beams under predominant flex ure. The analysis is based on a secant stiffness formulation, using ap propriate constitutive relations for cracked steel fibre concrete. Com parison with the available experimental results shows that, the analyt ical model predicts well the mode of failure, ultimate load and also t he complete behaviour of reinforced steel fibre concrete beams.
