Abstract
Quantitative recovery of petroleum hydrocarbons from a contaminated so il by supercritical fluid extraction depends on the three-way interact ions between the soil, the analytes, and the supercritical fluid. This discussion examines some of the important parameters which can influe nce the efficiency of supercritical fluid extraction of petroleum hydr ocarbon mixtures from contaminated soils.
