Endoscopically detected ulcers and submucous haemorrhage are common fi
ndigs related to cytomegalovirus infection. We report a case of cytome
galovirus colitis in a patient seropositive for human inmunodeficiency
virus. Endoscopic findings showed elevated, white-yellowish, small si
ze plaques with an erythematous central depression, resembling those f
ound in pseudomembranous colitis.
