A model with both single-particle and multi-particle hopping of electr
ons on a one-dimensional 'triangular' lattice is formulated and solved
exactly by Bethe ansatz. On the basis of the exact calculation of the
asymptotic behaviour of correlation functions we find a transition be
tween the normal state and a state with a tendency to 'superconductivi
ty'. The latter state is confined to small densities of electrons up t
o a critical density rho(c).
