Abstract
The influence of the temperature of maximum melt heating and the carbo n concentration in superalloys on the crystallization character and sa mple structure was investigated. It was found that absolute value of t he overcooling depends on the carbon concentration and the temperature of melt heating. The investigation was carried out with the help of d ifferential thermal analysis.
