Abstract
The solid-phase catalytic oxidation in the 2-hydroxy-3,5-di-tert-butyl benzyl alcohol-MnO2-NaOH system to yield 2-hydroxy-3,5-di-tert-butylbe nzaldehyde was carried out. Gaseous oxygen participates in the regener ation of the active form of the oxidant.
