Abstract
Complexes with ''naked'' main group elements acting as ligands continu e to attract a great deal of interest. Reported herein are the synthes es and structures of a telluride and a ditelluride derivative of perme thyltitanocene and their interconversion. The eta(2)-ditelluride is a rare example of this type of complex and may be employed as a ''Te-2'' transfer agent when treated with some alkyl halides.
