Abstract
Plasmids harboured by seven serotypes of Salmonella serogroup D1 were examined by restriction endonuclease fragmentation pattern analysis. S erotypes Enteritidis, Dublin, Moscow, Blegdam, Antarctica, Restock and Wangata were shown to contain a plasmid or a molecular variant of a p lasmid which has been described previously as serotype specific. These results demonstrate the relatedness between plasmids of different ser otypes.
