Abstract
N-phenoxyacetylribonucleosides were prepared efficiently from the reac tion of ribonucleosides with phenoxyacetylchloride and 1,2,4-triazole (for adenosine and cytidine) or 1 - hydroxybenzotriazole (for guanosin e).
