Abstract
A synthesis is reported of copolymers of N-(2-hydroxypropyl)methacryla mide with p-nitrophenyl esters of unsaturated phenoxyacetic acids anal N-methacryloylglycylleucine and also with acrylic acid. These compoun ds have been used as polymeric supports for Gramicidin-S antibiotic. K inetics have been studied of aminolysis of N-(2-hydroxypropyl)methacry lamide copolymers containing reactive p-nitrophenoxyl groups, with Gra micidin-S. Polymeric amide and salt derivatives of Gramicidin-S have b een prepared.
