Abstract
Published data on the electrolysythesis of phosphorous acid and esters of phosphorous acid from elemental phosphorus are surveyed. A possibl e mechanism of the electrode processes is discussed. Ways of using ele ctrolysis for the preparation of various derivatives of esters of phos phorous acid are considered.
