HYDATID CYST OF THE PANCREAS - A CASE-REPORT IN A CHILD

Primary pancreatic hydatid disease is rare. The diagnosis may be diffi cult when the presentation is that of an unexplained epigastric mass, despite suggestive radiological and ultrasonic features. We describe a 12-year-old girl in whom the definitive diagnosis was only made at re peat operation, when appropriate surgical therapy was effected.
