Ts. Wang et al., STUDY ON SPECTRAL CHARACTERIZATION OF INFRARED FLARE MATERIAL COMBUSTION WITH REMOTE HIGH-RESOLUTION FOURIER-TRANSFORM INFRARED SPECTROMETRY, Analytica chimica acta, 306(2-3), 1995, pp. 249-258
The infrared emission characterization of high intensity IR flare mate
rial combustion is studied using a remote sensing Fourier transform in
frared spectrometer. The emission spectra have been recorded between 4
700 and 740 cm(-1) with a spectral resolution of 0.24 cm(-1). The spec
tral radiance distribution of the IR flare material combustion has bee
n given. A number of combustion products have been determined directly
and quantitatively. The flame temperature can be estimated remotely a
nd directly from the line intensity distributions of the fine structur
es of the emission fundamental bands of gaseous molecules, such as HF,
HCl, CO and/or H2O.
