Abstract
We consider the mean current for the overdamped motion in a ratchet-li ke potential driven by a stochastic cyclic three-state force. Approxim ations for slow and fast fluctuating forces are presented. The influen ce of the correlation time and the frequency of the stochastic force i s investigated. Depending on the correlation time current reversal can be observed. The role of the frequency is of minor importance.
