Abstract
We report a dramatic decrease in prostate specific antigen in response to the discontinuation of megestrol acetate in a patient with progres sive metastatic prostate cancer. Our case demonstrates that withdrawal responses may occur with steroidal and nonsteroidal antiandrogens.
