Mt. Daniel et al., LEUKEMIC NON-HODGKINS-LYMPHOMAS WITH HYPERDIPLOID CELLS AND T(11-14)(Q13-Q32) - A SUBTYPE OF MANTLE CELL LYMPHOMA, British Journal of Haematology, 90(1), 1995, pp. 77-84
The present study describes five patients with leukaemic non-Hodgkin's
lymphoma (NHL) detected on the basis of particular morphology and cyt
ogenetic findings. With respect to histological, immunological and cyt
ogenetic features these NHL are closely related to mantle cell lymphom
a/intermediate differentiated lymphocytic lymphoma. However, the prese
nce of unusual large cells associated with the t(11;14)(q13;q32) trans
location and numerical chromosome changes, in the near triploid or nea
r tetraploid range, could delineate a particular subtype of mantle cel
l lymphoma.
