Abstract
Deep CCD photometry and detailed kinematics confirm that NGC 3384 is a complex object formed by at least four components: the traditional bu lge and disk plus an elongated component aligned to the minor axis and a small disk confined within the innermost 600 pc and laying in the g alaxy equatorial plane. From the presence of this small disk we infer that the elongated component is most probably a bar.
