Abstract
An adiabatic calorimeter equipped with a mechanical heat switch, for u se in the temperature range 4.2-30 K, was constructed and tested by ma king heat capacity measurements on the calorimetry conference sample o f high purity copper (99.9999 wt%). The results obtained are compared with those published by the National Bureau of Standards.
