Abstract
Based on Betti's reciprocal theorem, a displacement discontinuity boun dary integral equation is derived for a Reissner plate with line crack s. The boundary element method is used to obtain the moment stress int ensity factors for two collinear and parallel cracks. Displayed graphi cally are the numerical results for the moment stress intensity factor s.
