Excess molar enthalpies at 308.15 and 318.15 K have been determined fo
r 1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane with 2-methylfuran, tetrahydrofuran, 1,4-d
ioxane, and cyclopentanone. All four systems are exothermic. The exces
s enthalpies (in absolute values) decrease in the order tetrahydrofura
n > cyclopentanone > 1,4-dioxane > 2-methylfuran.
