Abstract
Within 10 years the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta hope s to have an audit program in place to monitor the clinical skills of all physicians. The decision to develop an audit program resulted from a college-sponsored survey which indicated that many Albertans were s urprised and concerned to learn that physician audits did not already exist.
