herefore, the association of characteristic symptoms (prostration, ata
xial slowing of digestive transit, bradycardia, hypothermia) allows th
e clinical diagnosis of amitraz intoxication. Specific treatment (admi
nistration of alpha 2 antagonists such as yohimbin and atipamezol) and
elimination ensure remission, without sequelae, of the symptoms obser
ved.
