Abstract
Multiply labeled aminomethylcyclohexane is synthesized by hydrogenatio n with H-3(2) gas of benzylamine in solution and the solid state. For solution hydrogenation the molar radioactivity of the product reached 100-120 Ci/mmole; for solid-state, 200 Ci/mmole. The distribution of H -3 in the product varied as a function of the hydrogenation method.
