Abstract
This review provides information about active corpuscular diagnostic m ethods that are introduced and used with great success in experiments on tokamaks and stellarators. The experimental results obtained by the se methods are presented. Attention is called to the features of exper imental data processing. We do not pretend to provide a complete analy sis of the present issues. The goal is to show the basic trends in the development of active corpuscular diagnostic techniques in recent yea rs and to consider the results of their application.
