Abstract
The diagnostic instrumentation of the GOL-3 facility is described. The facility is dedicated to the microsecond-REB plasma heating study. De pending on experimental conditions, the plasma parameters are the foll owing: 10(14) - 10(17) cm(-3) density, 1 - 1000 eV temperature, severa l microseconds - tens of microseconds lifetime. The 1 MeV, 40 kA, 3 - 5 mu s REB parameters are measured both at the input to and at the out put from the zone of REB-plasma interaction.
