Abstract
The techniques and results of Cr/C and Mo/C X-ray multilayer mirror th ermal stability testing are described. The multilayers were irradiated with 0.5 - 1.5 keV energy, 1 - 25 ns duration, and 0.01 - 0.2 J/cm(2) fluence X-rays. An approximate multilayer-heating theoretical model w as developed and used for experimental data analysis.
