H. Ernst et al., ENHANCED SENSITIVITY OF ZERO-FIELD NMR-SPECTROSCOPY AT HIGH MAGNETIC-FIELDS, Zeitschrift fur Naturforschung. A, A journal of physical sciences, 50(4-5), 1995, pp. 388-394
After reviewing the basic principles of zero-field NMR spectroscopy at
high magnetic fields (ZFHF NMR) as introduced by Robert Tycko, a 2-di
mensional extension of this method is described which enhances its sen
sitivity by at least one order of magnitude. The essential point is a
combination of the original pulse program including sample rotation wi
th a Carr-Purcell pulse sequence during the acquisition time. Experime
ntal results are given for the proton resonance of meta-C6H2D4 dissolv
ed in C6D6 at 245 K.
