Abstract
Catheter ablation was attempted in 2 patients with atrioventricular no de reentry tachycardia which showed fast, intermediate and slow antero grade atrioventricular node pathways. Radiofrequency currents were app lied within a restricted area of the tricuspid annulus between the His bundle and the ostium of the coronary sinus where presumed slow pathw ay potentials were identified. Elimination of both the intermediate an d the slow pathways, with preservation of anterograde and retrograde f ast pathway conduction, was achieved in both patients.
