Iv. Tuzov et al., NONCHEMICAL MODIFICATION OF SUPPORTS FOR STUDIES OF BIOPOLYMERS BY ATOMIC-FORCE MICROSCOPY, Bioorganiceskaa himia, 21(4), 1995, pp. 313-319
Two simple procedures of DNA molecule fixation on mica for following i
maging by the atomic force microscopy were developed. The distinctive
features of the procedures are their simplicity, absence of chemical m
odification stages, and the possibility to obtain the images in air un
der relative high humidity. Comparison of the features of the images o
btained indicated that the procedures developed were competitive with
the procedures earlier suggested.
