The ethanol conversion to hydrocarbons process, on zeolite catalyst of
H-ZSM-5 type is investigated at laboratory scale. The proposed reduce
d kinetic model takes into account the reaction path steps which are a
ble to predict selectivities for the species present in significant am
ounts. Experiments are carried out on a fixed catalyst bed reactor. An
ideal plug now circulation fluid model is assumed. The kinetic consta
nts are estimated. Process performances in obtaining inferior gasoline
are investigated too.
