SANDWICH-TYPE ELECTROCHEMICAL REACTOR, WI THOUT DIVISIONS, USED FOR THE ORGANIC-COMPOUNDS SYNTHESIS

The paper reviews, based on the specialized literature the conditions under which the electrochemical reactors without divisions can be used in organic synthesis. Based on the typical polarization curves study, the possibility to use this electrochemical reactor type also in case s when the required conditions are not usually fulfilled, is rendered evident. A constructive variant of the sandwich - type electrochemical reactor, without divisions, tested in the benzene electrochemical oxi dation to quinone is also presented.
