The granular aromatic polyamides, having a 40-70% initial humidity, we
re dried in hot air pneumatic conditions, at 80-100 degrees C temperat
ure and 5-10 1/s. volumetric flow-rates. The factorial technique exper
iment planning allowed us to determine the optimum values for the hydr
odynamic parameters of the pneumatic transport and for the drying cond
itions. The material being practically, non-thermodegrable, the drying
agent temperature was increased to 100 degrees C; the material recycl
ing condition, for getting a final humidity close to the equilibrium o
ne, were establised.
