Abstract
Development of spirally wound electrodialysis modules is presented, an d their advantages and limitations are discussed. The single start par allel flow spirally wound electrodialysis modules were designed, fabri cated and operated successfully. The construction of the modules is sh own, and their typical desalination experimental results are presented and compared with those from a traditional electrodialysis stack.
