Abstract
Inverse relaxation is a newly observed phenomenon in the domain of pol ymeric substances and has received scant attention. A brief account of the nature of this phenomenon is presented. The present paper is a se quel to the paper entitled 'Analysis of Relaxation Phenomena Part I: S tress Relaxation'. Here, equations are proposed to explain the phenome non or inverse relaxation. Values calculated by using the proposed equ ations show a very good agreement with those experimentally determined . A molecular mechanism that might be taking place in the polymeric ma terials during relaxation is also discussed.
