Abstract
The case of a 37-year old patient with ovarian cancer stage FIGO IV an d vaginal metastasis is reported. The vaginal smear showed psammoma bo dies, which are rarely found. The value of the diagnosis ''psammoma bo dies'' is discussed, via a review of the literature.
