SERVICE CREATION

This paper examines the features of an intelligent network (IN) necess ary to support rapid service creation, and shows that a service creati on environment (SCE) is only a part of the solution. It then outlines the service creation process and introduces three levels of service cr eation tool. These tools are then positioned within the BT architectur e for service creation. Finally it takes the concept of IN service cre ation and explains how this is being expanded into total service creat ion, which covers all aspects of creating a new service and not just t he network aspects.
