Abstract
A 20-year-old male person with a history of allergic rhinitis and alle rgic asthma suffered from a severe anaphylactic reaction when treated with prednisolone-21-OH-succinate. A type I allergy to the succinate e ster coupling of different corticosteroids instead of the corticostero ids themselves was proven.
