Abstract
The partial amino acid sequences ranging in length over 17-30 residues from the N-terminus, have been obtained for nine cuticular proteins o f Ceratitis capitata. Sequence similarities indicate that the proteins belong to a family which is related to cuticular proteins isolated fr om flexible cuticles of Drosophila melanogaster, Manduca sexta, Sarcop haga bulata and Hyalophora cecropia.
