Abstract
Assurance and provision of outstanding patient care that is both compa ssionate and nonjudgmental in its treatment of patients and their fami lies is especially important for the care of HIV-infected children and their families. The creation of an AIDS center and provision of compr ehensive family-centered care through a collaborative clinic program c an assist families in coping with HIV infection.
