Abstract
Heck Reactions of various diazonium salts and acrylic acid esters to g ive cinnamic acid esters are described for the first time in the prese nce of heterogeneous palladium catalysts. With acrylic acid as reagent a tandem fleck-esterification was observed in alcohols as solvents.
