Abstract
Oxyacid salt-ceramic composite systems are a new type of solid protoni c conducting system, where both cations and protons are mobile. Proton conduction of the order of 10(-2)S/cm have been obtained in the tempe rature range 300-600 degrees C. Two different proton co-ordination sta tes and conduction mechanisms have been recognised and suggested for t his system.
