Abstract
The characteristics of cardo poly(amide-imide) based on dichloroanhydr ide of trimelliteimido-N-p-benzoic acid and anilinefluorene were studi ed in solution and in block. It was shown that in the range of low con centration of the poly(amide-imide) in solution (<12%) the structure o f solvent is disordered. Further dilution of semidiluted solutions is exothermic due to formation of solvate shells around macromolecules. I n block, the polymer studied is amorphous and has the glass transition temperature 670 K.
