Abstract
Formulation and physical stability of hamamelis gels, using as gelling agents cellulose derivatives, were studied. Gelled vehicles were sele cted according two criteria : spreading diameter and limpidity. The te sts of physical stability applied to the hamamelis gels showed four of them to have the required stability : one based on methylcellulose Be necel M 142C(R), one based on hydroxyethylcellulose, Natrosol 250G(R) and two based on hydroxypropylcellulose, Klucel M(R) and Klucel H(R).
