Abstract
The kinetics of oligonucleotide cyclization was studied. Different oli gonucleotides containing sticky ends were cyclized, and the nicks were ligated with DNA ligase. The thermodynamic probability of the circula r conformation was determined from the relative cyclization rate measu red experimentally. The time dependences were obtained for the number of linear and circular oligonucleotides arising during polycondensatio n.
